> Freeman Tech (Freeman Tech Consulting LLC) is a small software engineering firm that builds custom software, AI automations, and cloud + data systems for small and mid-sized businesses. Based in the Charlotte, NC metro and working remote nationwide. Founder: Don Freeman.

## What we do

- **AI automation**: Automate the repetitive admin, follow-ups, and data shuffling teams do by hand. Customer follow-ups and reminders, quote and proposal flows, document extraction and routing, internal copilots over your own data, and workflow glue between the SaaS tools you already pay for.
- **Custom software**: Internal tools, client portals, dashboards, web apps, and API integrations, built when spreadsheets and off-the-shelf SaaS stop fitting. Includes migrations off spreadsheets, Access databases, and legacy systems.
- **Cloud + data**: AWS or GCP setups done right, CI/CD and monitoring, cloud cost reviews, data pipelines and warehouses, and reporting and dashboards your team will actually use.
- **Compliance & security** (as part of a larger engagement): SOC 1, SOC 2, and GDPR posture and audit prep.

- Pricing is fixed-fee for scoped projects or a monthly retainer for ongoing work, agreed up front.

## Engagement and timing

- Most AI-automation engagements ship a first working version in 2 to 4 weeks.
- Larger custom-software builds run 6 to 12 weeks for an MVP.
- Small, sharp engagements are welcome, often starting within two weeks of a first call.
